Allen's career is a blend of Capitol Hill experience and a strong interest in consumer protection and bankruptcy law. He started out in Washington D.C., working on legislative issues like trade policy, telecommunications, anti-trust, and agricultural subsidies. This experience paved the way for his shift to law.

Intrigued by how technology intersects with tax, finance, and data privacy, Allen headed to the University of Colorado for law school. There, he led the Silicon Flatirons Student Group, focusing on entrepreneurship, intellectual property, and innovation. His legal skills were further sharpened through hands-on client work in the university's entrepreneurial law clinic, along with negotiation workshops and competitions.

Allen’s background also includes a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise, adding a unique angle to his legal expertise. Outside the courtroom, he’s an avid snowboarder, hiker, and cyclist, and enjoys time with his Eclectus parrot, Riley.
 

Joining our firm, Allen brings a blend of legislative insight and legal acumen, especially in consumer protection, insurance claims, and bankruptcy.
