State Use Tax Exemption Application

  • If you're rebuilding or repairing a home damaged in the Marshall Fire and have an insurance gap, you may qualify for a State Use Tax Exemption.

  • Steps to Apply:

    1. Fill out the DR0992 form

    2. Send DR0992 form to your local government authority:

    3. Wait for your local gov't authority to send you a Wildfire Rebuild Exemption Certificate (DR0993 form)

    4. Submit the received Wildfire Rebuild Exemption Certificate to the CO Department of Revenue for processing
